Travis County Credit union is a cooperative, not-for-profit financial institution chartered by the state of Texas. We were started by a group of Travis County employees looking for better options when it came to saving and borrowing. TCCU is owned and controlled by its members and organized to promote thrift while providing credit to those who belong. The credit union provides many of the same services as the corporate banks while offering higher interest on savings and lower service charges. Your credit union is in business for you - not for the profit.

To become a member of the credit union you must live within Travis County or be employed by or within Travis County. Membership consists of a one-time membership fee of $5.00 and a purchase of shares equal to $25.00 which stays on deposit in your share account for as long as you are a member.
