"Talent is universal. Opportunity is not".

The Andy Roddick Foundation (ARF) works to develop and inspire underserved youth through education and sports-based mentoring, preparing each youth to succeed in the game of life! Almost without exception, children who suffer from economic hardship, educational disadvantages and neglect do not have a chance to make decisions about their futures. They are born into circumstances that predetermine life's outcomes and are not exposed to environments or activities that unlock their fullest potential. At worst, it creates a cycle of unfulfilled potential that can pass on from generation to generation.

ARF believes talent is universal but opportunity is not. By focusing on character development and values such as honor, respect, dignity and duty, our goal is to provide all children a support system that gives them hope for a brighter future.

To achieve this goal, ARF has raised over $11 million to fund programs that improve the daily lives of thousands of children. These programs include everything from summer and tennis camps to after-school programs and school uniform initiatives.

To expand ARF's capabilities, we have announced the construction of a state-of-the-art facility in Austin, Texas that will include more than 10,000 square feet of computer labs, meeting and mentoring rooms, office space, a nutrition and physical education center, and seven lighted tennis courts.

We rely heavily on donor support to help us operate and 100% of your gift is tax-deductible. You can also trust that 100% of online donations will go directly to programs. Every dollar makes a difference and we appreciate your support.

 FAQ

Is the Andy Roddick Foundation a non-profit foundation?

Yes. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered with the Internal Revenue Service. All donations made to the Andy Roddick Foundation are tax deductible.

When are the major fundraising events and how can I participate?

The foundation hosts an annual charity gala that has been its main source of program funding. Past events have featured artists such stars as Jimmy Buffet, Sir Elton John and John Legend. The 2013 gala date will be on Oct. 17th with Sir Elton John returning to take the stage at Moody Theatre at ACL Live.

The foundation recently hosted its inaugural Celebrity Golf Classic at the Spanish Oaks Golf Club in Austin, April 14-15. The night before the players hit the golf course, we hosted the Bogey Down Dinner and Party with Andy and Friends. A great night of fun with The Spazmatics, open bar, full buffet, live and silent auction. We look forward to continuing this wonderful weekend of fundraising in 2014.
