Matt Heaton
President


   As a native of Austin, Matt has endured all the challenges, changes and growth that our Central Texas economy has experienced. Understanding the culture and climate of the area, having been a small business owner and financial professional, Matt understands the challenges presented to fellow business owners, as well as individuals, in meeting all their insurance needs and goals.

Matt is a founding partner of Heaton Bennet Insurance and the current Agency President. As President, Matt works as a Financial Services and Commercial Lines Specialist, while also maintaining an NMLS Mortgage License (#269069). Matt's experience working as a self-employed, business owner managing multiple office locations, as well as over a decade of real estate lending experience contributes to his success serving as Heaton Bennet's President. Matt's goal is to provide his clients with the highest possible level of service found in the insurance industry.

Ross Bennett

Agent

Ross is a native Texan and grew up in the Fort Worth area. He is a graduate of Texas Christian University class of 2008, (GO FROGS!) and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Public Relations. Ross is an alumnus of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.

In 2010, Ross moved to Austin and has been working as an independent agent since. Heaton Bennett Insurance is a full-service independent insurance agency, and thus, Ross has the capacity to fulfill his client’s insurance needs.

In 2013, Ross joined the team at New England Financial – Austin, in an effort to further broaden the services he can provide to his clients. As an Investment Advisor Representative, his goal is to provide families and business owners with the knowledge they need to make prudent financial decisions.

Ross strives to be an efficient and dependable resource for all his clients.

In his free time, Ross enjoys playing golf, working out, going to movies, and spending time with family and friends.

Nancy Heaton

Vice President

Nancy Heaton, a born and raised Austinite, is a native to the insurance world as well. She is married to Ted Heaton, who also works in the insurance industry. Together, Ted and Nancy have two daughters, Meredythe and Margaret. Meredythe is a recent graduate of Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law and a newly licensed attorney in the State of Texas, practicing law in the Dallas area. Margaret is a graduate of the University of Georgia and currently works as Executive Assistant and Marketing Director for State Farm Insurance. 

Nancy has worked in the insurance field since 1981. Currently, Nancy co-manages the agency. In her free time, Nancy enjoys cheering on our University of Texas Longhorns. Many evenings you can spot her circling the Hike and Bike Trail or attending live music shows at Austin City Limits, while she spends her days antique shopping around the greater Austin area.
