For as long as she can remember, Griffin Interior Makeovers owner Jan Griffin has had a knack for and enjoyed decorating.  “Even as a little girl, I loved choosing colors and trim and decorating my room,” she says.  “My mother was a very clever decorator and a great personal inspiration.  She loved intense colors and bold prints, just as I do.”  Over the years, Jan enjoyed helping friends and family overcome decorating difficulties and finally grew her passion into a business in 2003.  She holds multiple certifications through IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists), and is proud to be a RESA-Pro (Real Estate Staging Association).

Client raves affirm Jan’s skill in drawing on existing treasures to transform the look and feel of a room or home.  “I’m happy to design and create with pieces the client owns, and I will work within their budget on any items they want to add,” she says.  “I recognize that all clients appreciate value, no matter their budget.”

Fabulous design at Fabulous prices. Jan did such a phenomenal job on my downtown condo.  She quickly got my style and gently led me down a path that I didn't even know existed.  She makes it easy and she's very straightforward with herdirection and response.  Top notch!

Finally, a talented AND reasonably priced designer!. I was renovating a 110 year old cottage that I own as a rental property. Jan helped me pick the exterior paint colors, the interior paint colors and the types of tiles for the bathrooms. The cottageturned out so beautifully that when I put it on the market, I received 3 rental offers in 2 days. Her work is just great AND was very very reasonably priced.

Creativity. I've used Jan's services for many of my listings and for my own home.  She is very creative in re-purposing what you have.  You do not have to go out and purchase all new furniture or accessories. When staging clients'  homes before going on the market, she is able to look at rooms and make suggestions that most people would not see- a great eye for what works.
